This fruity smoothie bowl recipe is one of our favourite ways to start the day well, especially in the height of summer. Not only does it taste like you're eating raspberry ice cream for breakfast but with 4, all-natural, core ingredients, it couldn't be simpler either...

METHOD: 

Start by adding the frozen banana and berries to a food processor or strong blender, starting to break down the fruit. Add a little milk - just a splash at a time - to help it blend together. 

Once the frozen fruit starts to come together into a smooth, thick, ice cream consistency, this is the time to add your protein powder. Keep blending, scraping down the sides as and when necessary. It might take a little time to get this smooth (and you may need to add a touch more milk), but be careful not to add too much liquid - otherwise it will be more protein soup than smoothie bowl!

Once done, spoon into a bowl, add your favourite toppings and enjoy.
