As Halloween and Thanksgiving approaches, we're all about getting cosy with something sweet and spiced, which includes this chai spiced protein oatmeal recipe! It's the warming, comforting breakfast bowl you need to coerce yourself out of bed in the morning...

Chai Spiced Oats Recipe | Neat Nutrition. Protein Powder Subscriptions.

METHOD: 

Boil the kettle to make your chai tea and leave it to brew for about 5 minutes. Once brewed, add it to a pan with the spices (cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg) as well as the oats, sweetener, vanilla and half of your oat milk. 

Place this on a medium heat on your stovetop, stirring regularly until the oats are cooked through and have thickened. 

Once your oatmeal is done, stir in your vanilla protein powder - whey or vegan would work well. If needed, add the rest of your oat milk to reach your preferred consistency. 

Then all you need to do is add your toppings and dig in!
